Elgeyo Marakwet

This program brings the principles of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 (UNSCR 1325) to the community level by focusing on women's participation in peace and security. Through workshops, training, and dialogue forums, RWPL equips grassroots women with the knowledge and skills to advocate for their inclusion in decision-making processes related to peacebuilding and conflict resolution.

The Action Plan envisages a peaceful and prosperous County where all individuals men and women fully and meaningfully participate in decision making processes, with a mission to build local capacities for inclusive, accountable and sustainable peacebuilding.Rural Women Peace Link (RWPL), a member of the National Steering Committee (NSC), is supporting the development of CAP for Uasin Gishu County as a contribution towards the commitment outlined in KNAP II to ensure that KNAP is localized and integrated into local /county grassroots levels

Nandi Action Plan

As a member of the National Steering Committee for KNAP coordination RWPL has been in the forefront in the implementation kf KNAP 1 and II at the grassroot community.We have undertaken the localization of the KNAP in various counties including Nandi.The Plan is riding on a spirit of total woman’s inclusion in the decision making mechanism within the levels of its national and grassroots architecture.The plan domesticated under the title KUHUSISHA WANAWAKE NI KUDUMISHA AMANI is alive to the dynamics nature of the insecurity and adopts a human security approach whose primary focus is protection and safety of indivudla women citzens.
